We are getting SO CLOSE! To what, you ask? To releasing our 3rd studio album! Very exciting times: on August 28th Turn Up The Stereo will be released (in Canada only, International release isn’t until Jan 2013). But you (any of you) can pre-order a digital version RIGHT NOW so it arrives in your inbox on Aug 28th morning and you get it before any of your friends and you can dance around and say ‘haha i got the new album first’. The real-life album will be available at all of our shows in Sept/Oct/Nov (and there’s lots of opportunities all across the country).

Summer festival prep
June-uary has definitely begun in Vancouver, but we know that summer festivals are just around the corner and Cali is always on the list (in case this rain keeps up too long). Solstice festival in Saskatchewan, Jazz Fest in Victoria, Canada Day in Abbotsford, Sunfest in Ontario, a handful of shows in Quebec this summer, and of course, Shambhala, plus so much more!
In the meantime, it’s all about the new album. The winter spent writing, the spring spent perfecting (…in Bali) and then recording in Vancouver. Let’s just say, you’ve got something big to look forward to at the end of this summer….as well as some super sneak peaks that’ll be going out in the newsletter very very soon. Sign up now to be in there with the in-crowd >>>
Day 7 in Bali…wow.
Amazing show at BaliSpirit Festival followed by a killer weekend of performers at the festival. Thank you all: artists, crew, and new friends. Now relocated to the studio-villa-home-for-a-week overlooking Dreamland surf break. Scooters and surfing and temples and treetops and pools and paradise. And of course, most important, daily writing sessions for the new album. Can’t get more inspirational than this really.
But that’s not all Bali! JUST ANNOUNCED: Delhi 2 Dublin live at JP’s Warung Club in Seminyak Saturday night, April 7th. See you there!
D2D @ Vancouver March 17
It’s time…time to party at HOME! It’s a special all-ages show at The Vogue this Saturday, extra special because it’s D2D’s 6th birthday party. Born this day on a CelticFest Vancouver stage 6 years ago, it’s gonna be one amazing St. Paddy’s Day bash. Tickets and more info here. Can’t wait to see everyone!!
Cali, SXSW, Bali
Starting with a handful of shows in Cali this week – we’re stoked to be making our return to Non Stop Bhangra in SF this Sat. They really don’t ever stop. You should check it out. Then we’re in Austin TX for SXSW – the biggest, messiest and funnest music conference/trade fair/boozefest that we’ve ever been to. Come check us out late night on Wed the 14th at the Copa. We’d love to see a familiar face in that distant land. And then… BALI! Words can’t describe how excited we are to be making our return to the Bali Spirit Fest for the second year in a row. Last year we were blown away with just about everything about the experience – the natural beauty, the people, the spirit of the island. If you’re anywhere in Asia at the end of March, don’t miss it!

D2D: occupying dancefloors since 2006
“Since forming as a one-off performance piece a half-decade ago, it’s also been an ever-evolving sound, incorporating everything from Celtic to country to rock to reggae to hip-hop to pop. It’s won over fans as diverse as the folk fest flock to the club kids…”
